In Memoriam:
Rodney Dale Waggoner, Jr.
March 23, 1960 - March 11, 2018
It is with great sadness the family of Rodney Dale Waggoner, Jr.,
announces his passing on March 11, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones.
Rodney Dale Waggoner, Jr. was born on March 23, 1960 in Austin, Texas.
He grew up in Manchaca, Texas, graduated from Crockett High School and attended
college at Southwest Texas University. Rodney was a successful business owner
and leader in his industry for the past 36 years. He loved the outdoors,
working on his ranch in Henly, Texas, hunting, fishing, thunderstorms, and
above all else he loved his girls. Rodney had a big heart and has touched
the lives of so many with his selfless acts of kindness. Rodney above all
was an amazing husband and father to his 3 daughters and raised them all
with a loving hand and instilled in them kind hearts, strong will, and the
encouragement to succeed in all they do.
His family and friends will deeply miss Rodney, but his spirit will continue
to live on through everyone he touched. Rodney is survived by his wife,
Tracy Lanae Waggoner, daughters, Della Grace Waggoner, Michelle Dawn Waggoner,
Nicole Elaine Waggoner, son in law Matthew Allen Kyser, and granddaughters,
Brinley Marie Kyser and Quinlyn Grace Kyser. Special thanks go to the physicians
and nurses of St. Davids South Austin Medical Center that cared for Rodney.
