Scott William McKinney, 50, died unexpectedly in Austin on July 26, 2010.
He was a 1978 graduate of Crockett High School and attended Tarleton State University
for two years, majoring in industrial arts. Scott, a journeyman electrician, loved his work.
In fact he would do anything to fix a problem one was having. Scott would like to be
remembered by those who knew him by the way he lived his relationships to them.
He is survived by his father Carl (Al) McKinney and his uncle Wilbur and wife
Nancy McKinney of Tyler. Visitation for family and friends will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.,
Friday, July 30, 2010 at Harrell Funeral Home, Austin, TX. Memorial service
will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, July 31, 2010 at St. Mark's Episcopal Church,
2128 Barton Hills Drive, Austin.
