Our beloved Debbie passed through this life to begin her everlasting journey with God.
She was our best friend and companion, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and godmother.
She leaves behind a lifetime of cherished memories and touched the heart of everyone
she came in contact with. Debbie lived life to the fullest and we were all blessed to
have 51 years of her. Debbie was preceded in death by her father and mother, Jack Housworth
and Hazel Gregory Housworth. She is survived by her longtime companion and best friend Gene
Kelly, daughters Brittney Jeffcoat Blaine and Tara Hall, sister Pam Housworth McDavid and her
husband Rick McDavid, brother Jack Housworth, six grandchildren, one niece and two nephews,
two godchildren and longtime friends Anthony and Trish Stowe. A memorial service celebrating
Debbie's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Zilker Park
Botanical Gardens. The family would like to express their thanks to the staff at Brackenridge
Hospital and the staff at the South Congress Rehabilitation and Care Center. The family would
