Mark Lynn Dickerson
December 9, 1958 - November 16, 2024
Mark Lynn Dickerson (65) from Lockhart, TX, went to be with his Heavenly Father on November 16, 2024, after a long battle with IBMPFD.
Mark was born in Bay Town, Texas to Gerald and Linda (Post) Dickerson on December 9, 1958, the first of four boys. Mark was preceded in death by his mother Linda, his brothers Michael and Todd, and his grandparents. Mark is survived by his father Gerald (Judy); his brother Rex (Kristy); his loving wife of 45 years, Celeste; his children: Tim (Stephanie), Robert (Christina), and Katie Karbach. He was a proud grandfather to nine grandchildren and a great-grandfather to one, with another on the way. Mark was also deeply loved by many nieces and nephews.
Though Mark faced many challenges later in life, one of his greatest joys was sharing moments with his family, especially the special rides he was able to take his grandchildren on while confined to a wheelchair. His loving heart, kindness, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew him.
In his later years, Mark was a home inspector and loved how that allowed him to continue meeting new people and educating young people about their homes.
The memorial service (final birthday party) will be held on December 9, 2024, at Bannockburn Church, 7100 Brodie Ln, Austin, TX at 11:00 A.M.
